Physician - Palliative/ Hospice

Physician – Palliative/Hospice Full‑time position located in Fort Wayne, Indiana (on‑site). Position Highlights Daily schedule 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with schedule flexibility; no nights. Clinical care at Parkview Randallia, Parkview Regional Medical Center, and various extended‑care facilities, including an inpatient hospice unit at Randallia. On‑call duties: phone‑based only. Board eligibility or certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine preferred. Collaborative care with a respected Palliative Care Team providing inpatient and outpatient services throughout the Fort Wayne region and partnership with the hospice team in northeast Indiana. Integrated care continuum ensuring seamless transitions from hospital to hospice to home. Teaching and research opportunities available with flexible involvement. About Palliative Care Parkview Hospice collaborates closely with an established Palliative Care Team providing both inpatient and outpatient services in the Fort Wayne area. Partnership with a dedicated Palliative Oncology Team located within the Packnett Family Cancer Institute on the Parkview Regional Medical Center campus. About Hospice Team Led by a full‑time Hospice Medical Director and supported by multiple hospice physicians of record. Team includes experienced Nurse Practitioners who manage face‑to‑face administrative responsibilities. Dedicated Hospice Pharmacy and integrated Home Health services provide access to a range of therapies, including physical, occupational, speech, massage, and music therapy. Interdisciplinary team focused on expert consultation and care for patients facing serious, life‑threatening, or end‑of‑life illnesses.
