Assembly Worker (Mechanical & Electrical) - Manufacturing

Location: Springfield, OH
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift - 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Mon to Thursday

Job Overview

We are hiring dependable Assembly Workers for a global manufacturing company. This role involves mechanical assembly, blueprint reading, and light electrical wiring , making it ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail and hands-on experience.

This is a full-time, fast-paced production position requiring teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical assembly of components and finished products
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Complete basic electrical wiring tasks as part of the assembly process
Work with hand tools and equipment to assemble parts accurately
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a consistent workflow to meet production goals
Follow all safety procedures and work instructions
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements

Previous mechanical assembly experience required
Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions
Experience with or willingness to learn basic electrical wiring
Strong attention to detail and quality
Excellent attendance and reliability
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Good communication and flexibility in a production setting

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Frequent use of hands for detailed assembly work
Ability to lift and handle materials as needed
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
