Border Tire is now hiring a CDL Driver in Mentone, CA!/strong/p pThe strongCDL Driver/strong is responsible for operating a tractor/trailer to transport materials back and forward for specified destinations throughoutthe assigned local area./p pstrongKey measures of successinclude:/strong/p ul liHigh utilization of tractor, trailer, and other company resources./li liStrong commitment to no-load refusals./li liMaintain a clear record of citations and accidents./li /ul pstrongJob Type: /strongemstrongFull-Time/strong/em/p pstrong*** Must be available to work some Saturdays./strongbr / strong*** CLASS A CDL - REQUIRED***/strong/p pstrongResponsibilities:/strong/p ul liCommunicates in a clear and consistent manner with high integrity./li liHigh utilization of hours of service (HOS) according to DOT regulations by keeping electronic logs (E-log)./li liEnsures cargo is secure to prevent shifting./li liLoads and unloads truck if needed./li liCompletes pre-trip inspections and makes accommodations to trucks as needed./li liComplies and maintains good safety practices with both Border-Tire and DOT safety regulations and procedures./li liCommunicate with Border-Tire personnel regarding hours of services and other critical information./li liAcceptsloads, verifies count and conditions of both unloaded and loaded goods/materialswhen permitted./li liReport overages, shortages, damages, and seal breakages to appropriate personnel./li liImmediate performs and follows the appropriate Border-Tire and DOT procedures if involved in an incident or accident./li liComplies with fuel-efficient driving guidelines./li liProperly hooks/unhook trailers./li /ul pstrongBORDER TIRE/strong/p pstrongYOUR LOCAL TIRE EXPERTS/strong/p pBorder Tire is all things tire.
