Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Preston, Minnesota. Location & Schedule Facility in Preston, Minnesota Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8-hour days. Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapist (PT). Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely and maintain them. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes. Work closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other staff to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and prevention strategies. Maintain a safe treatment environment using infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Engage in quality assurance, professional development, and discharge planning. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Physical Therapy experience. New grads welcome. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication. Proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication. PC skills. Physical Abilities Remain stationary, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend. Interpersonal Skills Work effectively with a range of personnel, maintaining positive attitude and professionalism. Technical/Motor Skills Perform fine manipulation, assist with procedures, use department equipment. Mental Requirements Handle frequent public contacts, meet deadlines under pressure, work under supervision or independently, manage irregular schedules, maintain concentration to detail.
