Your Role and Responsibilities

• Carrying out in-depth patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic medical conditions independently or in cooperation with supervising physicians
• Teaching patients and their families about preventive care, wellness strategies, and management of health conditions
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in line with established guidelines
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic illness management
• Working collaboratively with various healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and holistic approach to care
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records within electronic medical systems

Qualifications and Certifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or its specialized equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or capability to obtain within 90 days)
