Assembly Technician

APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with a precision manufacturing and advanced optics company looking to add a Drone Assembly Technician to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to assemble, inspect, and prepare drones and related components while maintaining the highest quality standards. Keep reading for more details! What your day will look like: Assemble drone frames, components, standoffs, and related hardware. Install clinch nuts, fasteners, and hardware according to specifications. File, deburr, and finish components to ensure proper fit and clearance. Apply thread-locking compounds and torque hardware to required specifications. Inspect completed assemblies for quality, fit, hardware security, and defects. Follow assembly procedures, engineering drawings, and quality standards. Prepare completed drones for final inspection, integration, testing, and production handoff. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. What we are looking for: Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work with small hardware, components, and hand tools. Ability to follow detailed instructions, assembly procedures, and technical drawings. Commitment to producing high-quality work in a manufacturing environment. Previous drone, electronics, mechanical assembly, aerospace, or manufacturing experience is a plus. Interest in learning advanced skills such as soldering and conformal coating.
