Senior Salesforce Technical Architect

Salary: $149,000 - 248,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• We need 8+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions, with substantial experience as a Salesforce Architect, Solution Architect, or Technical Architect.
• We require U.S. citizenship for this contract role.
• The selected candidate must be able to obtain security clearance.
• We need deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, including platform design, security architecture, data modeling, integration architecture, and application development.
• We require experience leading complex Salesforce implementations for Federal, State, Local Government, or Public Sector organizations.
• We need strong knowledge of Salesforce capabilities, including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Platform, Flow Automation, Apex, Lightning Framework, APIs, and DevOps methodologies.
• We require proven experience designing enterprise integration solutions using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and data synchronization approaches.
• We need a strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, role hierarchy, permission models, data protection, and compliance requirements.
• We require exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• We need experience facilitating architecture workshops, discovery sessions, and executive stakeholder meetings.
• We require demonstrated ability to analyze, redesign, and optimize business processes through technology solutions.
• We need strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguous, high-visibility, and complex technical challenges.
• We require experience leading distributed project teams and providing technical governance across multiple workstreams.
• We need the ability to influence stakeholders and effectively advocate for best practices, standards, and architectural decisions.
• We require hands-on application design and development experience within enterprise environments.
• Nice-to-have: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, System Architect, or equivalent Salesforce certifications.
• Nice-to-have: experience supporting Federal digital modernization and large-scale Public Sector transformation initiatives.
• Nice-to-have: hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) / Agentforce Public Sector.

• We serve as the lead Salesforce architect for enterprise-scale Public Sector engagements, offering strategic direction on platform capabilities, architecture choices, and implementation methods.
• We partner with clients, business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to define solution roadmaps aligned to business goals and Salesforce capabilities.
• We lead architecture and solution design across Salesforce products such as Public Sector Solutions, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Platform, OmniStudio, and custom applications.
• We develop scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures covering data models, application design, integrations, identity management, and security controls.
• We provide technical leadership during proposal development, solutioning, discovery sessions, and client presentations to support business development and pre-sales efforts.
• We define and document end-to-end solution architectures, technical specifications, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.
• We architect complex integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware platforms, cloud services, and enterprise data sources.
• We review and approve technical designs, code quality, architecture deliverables, and implementation approaches across project teams.
• We establish architecture governance processes and ensure alignment with Salesforce and industry best practices.
• We work closely with Delivery Managers and project leaders to identify, assess, and reduce technical risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges.
• We guide development teams through architectural decisions and provide technical troubleshooting support throughout the project lifecycle.
• We mentor developers, administrators, consultants, and junior architects while promoting technical excellence across the organization.
• We evaluate emerging Salesforce capabilities, AI-driven solutions, and platform innovations to identify opportunities for greater business value and improved client outcomes.
• We present technical concepts, recommendations, and solution strategies to executive leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• We support program planning and technology strategy discussions while ensuring solutions remain scalable, extensible, and aligned with long-term business objectives.
