Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of metal finished parts to confirm compliance with specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related inspection tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications.
- Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials, parts, or products.
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $29 to $32 per hour, depending on experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Inspect metal finished parts during incoming, in-process, and final inspection stages.
- Verify product quality using precision measuring tools and inspection documentation.
- Review blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specifications for compliance.
- Support production quality assurance through accurate reporting and issue escalation.

- 3 to 5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience inspecting metal finished parts or precision manufactured components.
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of quality documentation, inspection reports, and nonconformance reporting.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality requirements or aerospace quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, communication skills, and commitment to product quality.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior quality inspection experience in aerospace and defense manufacturing.
- Experience working in an AS9100 quality management system environment.
- Background collaborating with production, engineering, or quality teams to resolve inspection findings.
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement, traceability, and customer specification compliance.
