Assembly B PositionThe Assembly B performs final touch cleanup of all boats and the installation of a specific part, furniture, or accessories during the rigging stage of the manufacturing process.Essential FunctionsDevelops the appropriate color and size parts to be installed in boats.Creates pre-cut hose or trim to correct length to fit appropriate boat model.Creates drill holes in appropriate location on deck into which screws, or bolts will be inserted to secure various accessories and partsPerforms and trim pre-cut openings for better fit if necessaryPerforms the Install assigned part and accessories using a variety of securing devices such as: screws, bolts, hold down brackets, and hose clamps.Cleans boats using various chemicals.Applies decals.Changes vacuum filters as needed.All other duties as assignedExperience/QualificationsMinimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or EquivalentKnowledge, Skills, and AbilityKnowledge of multiple hand toolsMust have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.Precision work and problem solvingSpecific visual requirements: ability to distinguish basic colors, and shades of colorTravel RequirementsN/APhysical RequirementsLight lifting, under 20 lbs.Light carrying, under 20 lbs.Moderate lifting, 21-59 lbs.Moderate carrying, 21 – 59 lbs.Straight pullingPushingRepeated bendingReaching over shouldersUse of fingersWalkingStandingKneelingRepeated stretchingSpecific visual requirementsAbility to distinguish basic colorsAbility to distinguish shades of colorHearing (aid permitted)Work EnvironmentOutside and insideExtreme heatExtreme humidityExtreme noise, intermittentDustFumes, smoke, or gassesSolvents (degreasing agents)Slippery or uneven walking surfacesIndependent JudgementPerforms tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
