Junior Project Manager (Operational Lead)

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) – a field data collection company established in 2017 in Europe. We collect data where automation is not possible. We count features, photograph, film, record audio, and scan all necessary details to make better decisions. Our field data collection teams in Europe and North America are ready to take on new challenges.

The role involves managing a field team, creating their routes and schedules, monitoring costs; the Operational Lead communicates with project and program managers and assists them with all planning tasks. Almost all our projects cover multiple countries and multinational teams.

The ideal candidate has experience in coordination/management, excellent communication skills, very responsible and organized.

Responsibilities:

• Direct communication and management of your team
• Control performance and quality metrics
• Take corrective actions when necessary to improve efficiency
• Manage different functions (quality, production, etc.) to achieve program results
• Manage expenses and monitor budget
• Participate in team trainings
• Manage team-level risks

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in project and team coordination/management
• Excellent communication - both written and verbal
• Fluent in English
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
• Flexibility to support field operations; non-standard work schedule
• Experience in preparing reports, presentations
• Ability to work with large amounts of information
• Ability to manage a team, stress resistance
• Ability to remotely manage a team
• Attention to detail and proactive thinking

Experience in fleet management/logistics and previous experience in training new team members will be an advantage.
