Our diverse staff includes RNs, Nurse Externs, Paramedics, EMTs, MAs, CNAs, Phlebotomists, Pharmacists, and Providers, creating a collaborative environment to deliver exceptional care. Known for our wide variety of patient care services, including cardiac, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, strokes trauma, bariatric accreditations, and offer the only Pediatric and PICU in Southern New Mexico. With an average daily volume of approximately 108 patients, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality emergency medical care while working alongside a dedicated team in a fast-paced setting. How you'll contribute: A Paramedic who excels in this role: Under the supervision of physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments. Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given. Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas. Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration. Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates. Shift: PRN Shifts What we’re looking for: Education: Associate’s Degree Preferred; Graduate of a Program in Discipline; validated by current state licensure Licenses: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-P) Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) within 6 months of hire date Handle with Care to be received within 30 days of orientation and kept annually Why join us: We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
