Location:HHS Home OfficePay Rate:Hourly - Hourly Plan, 23.00 USD HourlyWork Shift:Morning Shift (United States of America)Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesHuman Resources GeneralistThe Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department while partnering with employees and managers across the organization. This role serves as a trusted resource for HR-related matters and supports all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and HR administration.The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building relationships, solving problems, and delivering exceptional service to employees.Work Schedule: This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in the office and two days remote. The first 90 days of employment must be completed fully in the office.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, benefits, and employment-related questions.Partner with managers to address employee relations concerns and provide guidance on performance management, coaching, corrective action, and policy interpretation.Process employee transactions within the HRIS, including new hires, job changes, compensation updates, and terminations.Coordinate I-9 verification, employment verification requests, and other employment-related documentation.Assist with leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other protected leaves.Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.Generate HR reports and analyze workforce data to support business decisions.Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and recommend solutions that enhance the employee experience.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.2+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience.Working knowledge of employee relations, benefits, recruiting, performance management, compliance, and HR best practices.Experience working with an HRIS (Workday experience preferred).Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.PreferredSHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification.Experience supporting a multi-site or field-based workforce.Knowledge of employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEO regulations.Experience with HR reporting and data analysis.What We OfferPaid Time Off (Vacation and Sick Leave)Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)Career Development and Ongoing TrainingOpportunities for Growth and Internal AdvancementImportant to KnowVeterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.HHS is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace where every employee is respected, supported, and given opportunities to grow.Who We AreHHS is a private, family-owned company dedicated to caring for our team members while providing exceptional customer service.
