About the Role 

The Customer Service Team Leader is responsible for the overall customer experience across the store, from entry to checkout. 

This role leads front end operations while also supporting the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of customer facing areas including café spaces, grab and go areas, aisles, and store entry points. 

By maintaining strong service standards, supporting team development, and partnering across departments, this role ensures a consistent, welcoming, and efficient experience for every customer. 

What You Will Do 

• Lead day-to-day front end operations, ensuring smooth transaction flow, strong service, and accurate cash handling 
• Support and develop team members through clear expectations, coaching, and feedback 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across customer facing areas including front end, café spaces, grab and go areas, aisles, and floors 
• Monitor staffing and customer flow to ensure an efficient and positive experience 
• Resolve customer concerns with a solutions-focused and service-driven approach 
• Partner with department leaders across the store to support overall execution and consistency 
• Reinforce store standards that contribute to a positive experience from parking lot to checkout

• Customers experience a welcoming, efficient, and consistent interaction from entry to checkout 
• Front end operations run smoothly with strong transaction accuracy and minimal disruption 
• Customer facing areas are clean, organized, and well maintained across the store 
• Team members are supported, accountable, and clear on expectations 
• Staffing and service levels align with business needs and customer flow 
• Customer concerns are resolved effectively, maintaining trust and satisfaction

• Experience in retail, customer service, or team leadership 
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to lead by example 
• Ability to lead a team, set expectations, and follow through on performance 
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities 
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
