About the Position

Job Title: RN - PACU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: Seasonal - Travel Shift: 08:00 - 20:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of current PACU experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS & ACLS required Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of current PACU experience - BLS & ACLS Description: We are seeking a seasonal travel RN for the PACU. The position is for 12-hour shifts from 08:00 to 20:30. The unit has 27 beds and a staff of 12. Day shift consists of 10 RNs and 2 Charge RNs, while night shift has 2 RNs. Patient ratios are estimated at 4 patients in preop and 1-2 patients in PACU. The type of equipment used includes EMR with Meditech. Candidates should possess good communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care and satisfaction. This fast-paced environment requires collaboration with multiple departments and providers. Typical procedures performed on the unit include orthopedic, spine, neurology, interventional radiology, ENT, general surgery, GI, vascular, and colorectal.
