HR ManagerHunting is an energy services provider to the world's leading national and international oil and gas companies; manufacturing and distributing products that enable the extraction of oil and gas.Our Subsea Technology division has an opportunity for an HR Manager based in Spring, TX. The Human Resources Manager oversees HR and payroll operations for Subsea's Spring and Stafford location, ensuring consistent application of company policies, compliance with employment laws, and accuracy of all payroll processes. This role serves as a trusted partner to management and employees, supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, training, performance management and HR administration across all assigned locations. This position requires on-site presence due to the industrial nature of the workplace.The Human Resources Manager is specifically responsible for:Partnering with senior leadership to implement HR initiatives that support organizational objectives across all sites.Leading the implementation of corporate HR policies and programs within the Business Unit.Monitoring HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, staffing levels) and recommending actions for improvement.Investigating and resolving workplace issues, ensuring fair and consistent handling in line with company policy and legal requirements.Promoting positive employee engagement and workplace culture.Overseeing recruiting efforts in UKG, working with hiring managers to source, screen, and select qualified candidates.Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws across all locations.Maintaining and updating local HR procedures.Coordinating audits, reporting, and recordkeeping for HR compliance.Identifying training needs and coordinating development programs for managers and employees.Supporting performance management processes.Assisting employees with benefits enrollment, questions, and issue resolution.Partnering with leadership to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.Traveling to each location to provide HR support, conduct training, and build relationships with teams.Supervising Payroll Specialist and overseeing payroll function.Supervising HR Generalist at remote location.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required, with a focus in Human Resources or related field preferred.Progressive experience in Human Resources with five years in Human Resources Management.Experience in Oil and Gas or Manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.UKG experience preferred.Required Skills:Leads and champions organizational change.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Expertise in talent management and employee development.Builds strong cross-functional partnerships.Skilled in conflict resolution and employee relations.Company Requirements:Candidates are required to be authorized to work in the United States.
