Physician Assistant II - Cardiology

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant II, Acute Care NP, or RNFA to join the Cardiac Surgery OR team. This full-time role involves assisting in complex cardiac procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting and valve surgeries, performing tissue handling, chest closure, and harvesting veins and arteries for bypass. The position requires minimum two years of cardiac surgery experience and proficiency in endovascular vein harvest. Responsibilities include assisting surgeons during open-heart procedures, managing hemodynamic assessments, and ensuring patient safety during transport. Candidates must hold current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice RN, with certification (NCCPA for PA, RNFA for NP), and demonstrate strong communication skills. The role involves four 10-hour daytime shifts per week and on-call duties for urgent cases. Qualifications include accredited training, relevant experience, and clinical competence in cardiac surgery.
