About the Position

Registered Nurse (RN) - Urgent Care

Location: Juneau, AK
Pay Range: $34.15 - $47.93/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $25,000
Relocation Assistance: $10,000 for qualified candidates
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | Rotating Days and Weekends

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced Urgent Care team providing high-quality patient care for individuals of all ages. This role is responsible for triage, patient assessments, medication administration, IV therapy, care coordination, patient education, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient triage and comprehensive nursing assessments
• Administer medications, injections, and IV therapies
• Initiate and manage IV access and infusions
• Provide patient and family education
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Respond to urgent and emergent patient situations
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license in Alaska or another U.S. state
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• At least 1 year of urgent care, ambulatory, outpatient, or clinic experience
• BLS certification preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
