The application also requires a clear account of equipment experience and outdoor maintenance work. Equipment And Turf Work Aerifiers remove small cores or create channels in turf so air, water, and nutrients can reach the root zone. Topdressing places a thin layer of sand or soil material across turf to help manage surface conditions. A Class II worker uses both types of equipment as part of the course maintenance program. Mechanical bunker rakes shape and groom sand areas, while greens rollers help prepare short-cut putting surfaces. Tractors support heavier grounds work, and the role includes operating other equipment assigned to course maintenance. Equipment work requires attention to operating controls, changing ground conditions, and the boundaries between turf, sand, paths, and planted areas. Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection includes two 18-hole championship courses and the nine-hole Wikiwiki Course. The Mauna Lani golf facilities also include a clubhouse bar, practice facilities, lessons, clinics, and golf-cart tours. The Wikiwiki Course serves adults and families at all skill levels. The North Course follows a parkland layout through kiawe trees and includes oceanfront views. The South Course has open fairways, lava-field scenery, and ocean views. These distinct playing areas require different care across turf, sand, trees, planted borders, and paved paths. The role calls for self-motivation and efficient assignment completion.
