Speech Therapist

Tarboro Health & Rehabilitation is looking for a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team in providing exceptional care to our residents. Compensation for the Speech Therapist ranges from $100,000-130,000 annually. What You'll Be Doing in This Role: As a Speech Therapist at Tarboro Health & Rehabilitation, you will: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Provide therapeutic services and exercises to improve speech, language, and swallowing functions. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies for effective communication and recovery. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to monitor and report on patient progress. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans, goals, and improvements. Stay current with the latest advancements in speech therapy and apply new techniques as appropriate. You’re Probably a Match If You Have: A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. A valid state licensure (or the ability to obtain licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). 1-3 years of clinical experience working with adults or elderly patients (though new graduates are welcome to apply!). A strong understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders, with expertise in developing individualized treatment plans. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, their families, and the healthcare team. Proficiency in maintaining records and using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on best practices in speech therapy.
