Qualifications to Succeed:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia
• Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations highly valued
• Competence in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide variety of communication disorders
• Effective organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet each student’s needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic assessments for students exhibiting speech, language, or communication challenges
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for students
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Keep accurate records of student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Offer support and training to staff and parents to promote carryover of skills
