Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30) | 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule | On-call required (approximately 9 shifts per 5-week period)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting within a short-term acute care, teaching facility
• Perform scrub and circulating roles during cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled, approximately 9 shifts per 5-week period
• Complete required facility modules and annual hands-on competency requirements in a timely manner prior to and during assignment
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Active RN license (pending license accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submittal
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine required
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; no additions will be accepted after submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
• Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) and Vascular procedures strongly preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
