Availability
  • Full-time permanent position
  • Candidates completing Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship training encouraged to apply
  • Must reside within the immediate local area

License & Board RequirementsRequired
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatology
  • Completion of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship
  • Eligible for board certification upon completion of training
Practice Details
  • Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a 35-bed Level III NICU
  • Average daily census: 25–29 infants
  • Annual NICU admissions: Approximately 370–400
  • Annual deliveries: Approximately 3,400–3,900
  • Advanced neonatal interventions include:
    • High-frequency ventilation
    • Therapeutic hypothermia
  • Well-baby rounding two weeks per month with Family Medicine Residency Program
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary neonatal care model
  • Strong pediatric subspecialty support including:
    • Cardiology
    • Pediatric Surgery
    • Ophthalmology
    • Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM)
Support Structure
  • 4 Neonatologists in rotating service model
  • 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) coverage
  • Academic-supported clinical environment
  • Regional referral center setting
