The Planer Mill Laborer plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of a planer mill by supporting the processing and preparation of lumber products. This position involves handling raw materials, assisting with machine operations, and ensuring that finished products meet quality standards. The laborer contributes to maintaining a safe and organized work environment, which is essential for smooth production flow. Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials.
• Basic understanding of machinery and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a sawmill, planer mill, or similar industrial setting.
• Familiarity with lumber grading and quality control processes.
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand safety manuals and operational instructions.
• Forklift or heavy equipment operation certification.

Responsibilities:

• Operate or support the operation of planer mill machinery under supervision.
