Job SummaryWe are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team. This role involves the physical handling of storage materials, including boxes, bins, and totes, which range in weight from 10 to over 100 lbs. The position requires frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending. Employees will manually move boxes and use hand carts.ResponsibilitiesProcess orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.Manually lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks safely on uneven and concrete surfaces.Read and write English to process incoming and outgoing orders.Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.Operate handheld scanners.Climb and balance on ladders.Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.Load boxes onto pallets and pallets onto trucks, both manually and with material handling aids.QualificationsAbility to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.Capable of lifting and carrying boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance.Experience in loading, operating, and moving hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.Work ScheduleThis position operates on a normal schedule of 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.Additional InformationU.S. Person status is required to meet ITAR regulations.Public Trust Clearance is not applicable.This position is not for a building move.A BI Exception applies to this requisition.The Service Contract Act does not apply.Potential for the position to transition from temporary to permanent.Join us in [City, State], a vibrant community offering a rich blend of cultural, recreational, and professional opportunities.Benefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
