Location: Richmond, VA | Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday, 4:00 AM–2:30 PM | Compensation: $27.38/hour with excellent benefits

You arrive before sunrise, walk the production floor, and listen for the small sounds that signal a big win later—machines humming in sync, conveyors moving smoothly, boilers operating within spec. You prioritize the morning’s preventive checks, then jump in with hands-on troubleshooting when an electrical panel trips or a hydraulic line needs attention. Throughout the day, you collaborate with operations to keep overall equipment effectiveness high, document your work with precision, and pass on know-how to junior techs. By afternoon, the facility is running stronger because of the work you did.

What you’ll take on

• Work safely, always: Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols; spot hazards and correct them to protect people and equipment.
• Stay ahead with PMs: Perform routine inspections and scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Fix fast and right: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across diverse equipment—quickly and accurately.
• Support operations: Partner with other departments to sustain strong overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Document thoroughly: Keep clear records of inspections, repairs, and PM tasks.
• Lift the team: Share best practices, coordinate work with fellow technicians, and mentor less-experienced teammates.
• Pitch in: Tackle additional maintenance tasks as assigned.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting ability and confident use of hand tools.
• Team-first attitude with strong communication skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Physical capability to perform all job duties.
• Ability to operate support equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including potential weekends and holidays.
