Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures within the operating room. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise, compassion, and a collaborative spirit in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain the operating room environment for surgical procedures.Assist the surgical team by providing direct patient care and support during operations.Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and surgical procedures.Coordinate with surgical staff, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sterile techniques.Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed.QualificationsActive Massachusetts state nursing license (conditional license accepted).Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).Neurological Stroke Scale (NHISS) certification required.Experience in the operating room setting is preferred.Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.ScheduleThis position is scheduled for days, working 40 hours per week, typically four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
