Litigation Attorney - Real Estate- Full Remote
We are seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney with a focus on real estate matters to join our firm. The ideal candidate will handle contested real estate disputes, including contract disputes, landlord-tenant litigation, boundary and title disputes, foreclosure defense and enforcement, and related business law issues. This role requires strong litigation experience, deep knowledge of real estate law, and the ability to develop business through client relationships and strategic business development activities. The attorney will manage case strategy, draft pleadings and motions, represent clients in court and arbitration, and collaborate with transactional teams to provide integrated legal solutions.
Key responsibilities include managing a docket of real estate litigation matters from intake through resolution, representing clients in state and federal court proceedings, conducting factual and legal research, advising clients on potential liability, coordinating with transactional real estate attorneys, engaging in business development activities, supervising and mentoring junior associates and paralegals, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of real estate law, and managing billing, case budgets, and client communications.
Qualifications include a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar in good standing, 5+ years of litigation experience with a substantial focus on real estate litigation and related business law matters, proven courtroom experience, demonstrated expertise in real estate law topics, excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills, business development acumen, ability to manage a varied caseload, experience supervising junior attorneys and support staff, and high ethical standards, professionalism, and strong client-service orientation.
