Travel RN - Cath Lab/EPAmerican TravelerEl Paso, Texas, United StatesAssignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1Start date: 2026-10-27$3,027.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN with prior interventional radiology experience for a role requiring on-call availability at a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke facility.DetailsWork in the Cardiac Cath Lab supporting STEMI cases, vascular emergencies, and structural heart procedures5x8-hour day shifts, typically starting between 6-8 AM with case-dependent end timesOn-call rotation of 1 week on, 1 week off with a 30-minute facility arrival requirementCirculating role required for cath lab and IR proceduresUses Cerner charting systemHigh Spanish-speaking patient population, with translator staff available for supportRequirementsActive TX RN license or compact license (pending TX license accepted)Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSSBSN requiredMinimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience requiredInterventional Radiology experience required (cardiac or neuro IR call experience)Minimum 1 year of hospital-based acute care experience requiredCerner charting system experience requiredCirculating experience requiredExperience with procedures such as PCI, TAVR, Impella insertion, IABP placement/removal, pacemaker/defibrillator management, and vascular closure systemsOne supervisory reference required for considerationAdditional InformationFacility is Chest Pain Accredited, Comprehensive Stroke Certified, and a Level 1 Trauma CenterSupport a wide range of cardiac, vascular, neuro, and interventional radiology proceduresAssist with procedural sedation monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency medication administrationComplete approximately 4-8 hours of non-billable orientation modules prior to startFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyCandidates residing within a 50-mile radius are considered local and accepted at the local bill rateAny requested time off must be submitted and approved prior to confirmation
