Endoscopy Technician

Job Description Assists the physician with the full range of therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopic procedures, including specialized procedures. Participates in the on‑call rotation, and in the provision of endoscopic services to outreach locations. Education Qualifications Completion of healthcare program (such as LPN, CA, NA, EMT, etc.) or equivalent technical healthcare training, education or experience Required Qualifications 8-12 months of related experience in healthcare or patient care experience Medical terminology Preferred Qualifications Demonstrating proficiency assisting with routine diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including screening flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy and EGD, and experience assisting in specialized procedures Experience using electronic medical record What You Will Get To Do In This Role Assist physicians with the full spectrum of therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopic procedures, including advanced and specialized techniques. Support high‑quality patient care by ensuring readiness and efficiency during procedures. Licensure/Certification Qualifications This position must be able to work the following: 64 hours per pay period Rotating 8‑hour shifts with varied start times Start times: 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM On‑call shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
