Job Title: Mobile Dental Assistant, Mobile (Full-Time 3-5 days per week- Flexible) Job Location: Pinellas and Hillsborough Communities Job Classification: Experienced Dental Assistant (will train on mobile) Pay: $ 22-25 Daily Rate (commensurate with experience) – 4 – 5 days per week – Flexible + Travel $20 per day Have you been looking for something new rather than the same routine of a dental office setting to work in? Who Are We…Home Dental to You We are a mobile, on-site, dental provider with a focus on access to dental care for people in senior living communities and private homes. We want to make our patients feel well cared for by improving the oral health/overall health by conveniently bringing the dental care into their home or community We are committed giving our patients concierge dental care and peace of mind to families What you will do Mobile Dental Assistant of Home Dental To You Services Ensuring Wifi connection for computer (training provided) Load, Set up, disinfect equipment and break down (25-50 lbs) Assist Dental Hygienist & Dentist as needed for equipment and supplies Make sure equipment: computer, x-ray camera and Intra-oral camera is functioning and ready for appointments. Assist with X-Rays and Intra-oral pictures Entering data for Electronic Dental and Charting in mobile dental software (training provided) Working with the team and patient families Onsite communication with patient families for procedures and consents as needed Assist with schedule updates and with patients within the community Update treatment codes and payments in software as needed Responsible for mobile dental carts supplies and equipment. Monthly inventory of supplies and new ordering Who you are Ready to learn a new & growing area of mobile dentistry Have a working vehicle or mode of transportation. Clinical dental assisting or EFDA certification. Mobile dental training will be provided Valid Florida Driver’s License Positive attitude and willingness to learn mobile dental care Located in the Tampa Bay area with a willingness to travel in a personal vehicle within the Tampa Area, including Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, and Sarasota counties as needed A compassionate patient-focused approach with an emphasis on geriatric care Ability to learn mobile dental program (training provided) Maintain mobile equipment, sterilization, and disinfection up to OSHA standards Bonus Points Open minded learner willing to learn the new and emerging field Mobile Dentistry Ability to Adapt to schedule changes Hard-working and organized Ability to stay focused and remain calm in a rapidly changing environment A positive attitude and customer service skills Comfort level with aging seniors with cognitive and physical limitations Comfortable with laptop dental software – Completely paperless What We Offer Mobile Dental Training 3-5 days per week Personal protective equipment is provided as required. Per hour based on experience General hours are 9 am – 3 or 4pm per day. $20 Travel allowance if traveling more than a 10 mile radius of home Grow with a rising company.
