Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum, and Newborn care units. This is a 12-hour night shift position with the requirement for flexibility to cover day shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in L&D and postpartum rooms.
• Support breastfeeding initiatives and care for newborns in conjunction with mothers.
• Manage an average of 40 deliveries and 6 C-sections monthly.
• Assume charge nurse duties as needed after completing charge nurse training.
• Potentially float to other departments as qualified, including taking patient loads or assisting with tasks such as answering call lights and phones.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care in a healthcare setting.
• Advanced certifications required:
  • American Heart Association ACLS or ALSO
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (may substitute RNC-EFM for AWHONN FHM)
