Associate / Senior Analyst, Industrials Investments, Leading Middle Eastern Sovereign Wealth Fund, New York

Our client, a leading global sovereign wealth fund, is looking to appoint a Senior Analyst / Associate to join its growing US Industrials team, based in New York

The opportunity sits within an established international investment platform undergoing significant expansion in the US. The team has a broad investment mandate, spanning traditional industrial sectors through to emerging areas such as industrial technology, robotics and aerospace

The role offers exposure to direct investments, growth opportunities and transactions alongside leading private equity sponsors, with involvement across the investment process

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute direct investment opportunities across a broad range of industrial sectors
• Undertake financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis
• Conduct due diligence and support transaction execution, working alongside internal teams and external advisers
• Assess opportunities across both established businesses and earlier-stage growth companies
• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and investment management
• Work closely with investment colleagues across the US and international offices

Requirements

• Approximately 2–4 years of experience within Investment Banking, M&A or Corporate Finance
• Strong technical skills, including financial modelling, valuation and transaction analysis
• Exposure to live transactions and involvement across the execution process
• Experience from a leading bulge-bracket bank or elite boutique is preferred
• Industrials experience is advantageous, particularly across chemicals, business services, aerospace and defence, capital goods or related sectors, although strong M&A generalists will also be considered
• Strong communication skills, commercial judgement and an interest in transitioning into a direct investment environment
