Colorado Perm - Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiothoracic Surgery

Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner near Denver, CO!

Candidate must be proficient in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting and Cardiac Surgical First Assisting!  Must have CTS experience, 1st assist experience, and they have experience harvesting veins both openly and endoscopically.  Our client is seeking a candidate who is seeking  Locums to Perm !Client is willing to try it before they buy it! 

Position Highlights:

• First assist in cardiothoracic surgeries
• Open and endoscopic vein harvesting required
• Pre- and post-operative patient management
• Inpatient rounding and transition of care coordination
• Post-acute follow-up in cardiology clinic
• Independent evaluation and management of patients

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of current Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
• Strong first assist experience
• Open and endoscopic vein harvesting experience
• Active Colorado PA license (or ability to obtain)
• NCCPA certification
• BLS (ACLS required within conditional period)
• DEA with prescriptive authority
• Robotic experience preferred
