Law & Motions Attorney

A nationally recognized plaintiffs firm is seeking a skilled Law and Motion Attorney to join our Emeryville CA office. We are dedicated to advocating for individuals harmed by corporate negligence and misconduct.

This position is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment and has a passion for legal research writing and courtroom advocacy. Our firm handles complex high-stakes litigation involving multiple defendants and significant settlements and verdicts.

As a Law and Motion Attorney you will be responsible for drafting and arguing substantive motions including:

• Summary judgment motions

• Demurrers

• Jurisdictional challenges

• Motions in limine

• Discovery-related motions

This is an in-office position to foster collaboration and mentorship. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under deadlines. Prior experience successfully arguing motions in court is preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school

• Active membership in the California Bar

• Strong legal research and writing skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A commitment to advocating for injured clients

• Experience in plaintiffs litigation is a plus
