Staff Nurse (RN) - Corrections

Position Summary The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model. Minimum Education Requirements 2‑Year College Degree or equivalent with a Major in nursing. Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a Major in nursing. Required Qualifications Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing) accredited program. Current Ohio license or interim permit. Experience in a relevant care setting preferred. Additional Information Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
