Overview Join to apply for the Driver role at Napoli's Pizza Job posting date: January 2021 Job Details Job Title: Driver Date: January 2021 Job Grade/Classification: Non-Exempt Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the District Manager Job Summary This position is responsible for food delivery to customers, ensuring excellent customer service for all deliveries, with an emphasis on ensuring customers receive their food orders timely and professionally; delivered to company expectations while ensuring standards are maintained, policies and processes are followed. Responsibilities, Duties & Accountabilities Primarily responsible for timely delivering customer orders to their designated location (residential and commercial) in a courteous and professional manner, following safety practices Works closely with co-workers assisting with preparing orders for accurate and quality food deliveries Ensures timely and accurate deliveries to customers, learns customer names and thanks them for choosing us Provides exceptional service to customers, learning the names of regular customers and ensuring a professional and timely delivery Performs cross-functional duties to cover for co-workers during absences Works closely with the kitchen to ensure only the highest quality food is delivered Unloads incoming truck loads, assists in unloading, inventory and stocking of supplies Address customer complaints, concerns and issues with tact and professionalism, escalating to management as needed Maintains a clean and safe vehicle, removes trash routinely Drives safely and courteously, following all laws and company policies Assists in re-stocking and replenishing products and supplies Conducts routine inspections of restaurant and parking lots for cleanliness and appearance Maintains professional working relationships with co-workers, vendors and the public Collaborates with management to address safety concerns and ensure overall safety of customers and staff Demonstrates proactive, positive engagement with customers to support long-standing community relationships Complies with all company policies, SOPs and departmental checklists Follows safety and security practices; completes daily departmental checklists and SOPs with attention to cleanliness and safety Completes required trainings and participates in all mandated programs Other projects and duties as assigned Position Rules Abide by state laws, including but not limited to: No texting while operating a motor vehicle; No distracted driving; No unauthorized individuals in vehicles; No eating or smoking in the vehicle; No personal use of vehicle without management approval Maintain a clean vehicle, free of refuse Responsible handling of money and daily reconciliation Immediately call law enforcement if an accident occurs, then inform management as directed Position Requirements and Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Valid, current Driver’s License (no more than four points) Experience in vehicle deliveries service Maintains knowledge of safe food handling practices and holds required food handling permits; ServSafe Certification as directed Knowledge of local driving area Customer service experience with the public; ability to address concerns professionally Ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues Physical requirements: speak, hear, see; sit/stand for long periods; frequent walking; reach and dexterity; able to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays; maintain attendance and punctuality with flexible schedules Note: This job description may change over time. #J-18808-Ljbffr Napoli's Pizza
