Quality Control Inspector

This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control Inspector role based in Phoenix, AZ. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting components, subassemblies, and finished weapon systems to ensure they meet established specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include using precision measurement tools, reviewing production documentation, performing in-process and final inspections, and recording inspection data accurately. The role also involves identifying nonconformances, collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. The inspector supports continuous improvement by participating in root cause analyses, maintaining organized inspection records, and helping refine quality procedures and work instructions. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Quality Control and Inspection, including in-process, first article, and final inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. Experience running and programming PC-DMIS equipped CMMs is preferred. Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Management practices, such as documentation control, nonconformance reporting, and corrective/preventive action processes. Strong Communication skills, including clear written documentation of inspection results and effective collaboration with production, engineering, and management teams. Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications; ability to work with tolerances and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in firearms, defense, aerospace, or other precision machining industries. High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under time constraints while maintaining quality standards. Basic computer skills and experience with quality or ERP software for data entry and recordkeeping. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in quality or inspection are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
