This role supports production operations by ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time, while maintaining an organized, safe, and compliant warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in keeping a clean and well-organized facility.Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Movement & StagingReceive, unload, and verify incoming shipments of raw materials, components, and supplies against purchase orders and packing slipsInspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report findings to the Warehouse SupervisorStage materials and subassemblies at designated production line locations according to build schedulesTransport materials throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipmentLoad and stage outbound shipments including finished vehicles, parts orders, and vendor returnsTransfer materials between warehouse locations, staging areas, and production cells as directedInventory & OrganizationMaintain accurate inventory records by scanning, logging, and confirming material movements in the ERP systemPerform daily, weekly, and periodic cycle counts; report and reconcile discrepanciesOrganize and maintain warehouse storage locations, ensuring materials are properly labeled and storedDispose of packaging materials, scrap, and waste in accordance with company proceduresAssist with annual physical inventory countsIdentify and report damaged, obsolete, or excess inventory to the Warehouse SupervisorSafety & ComplianceOperate all material handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner in compliance with OSHA standards and company policiesMaintain clean and organized work areas, aisles, and staging zones at all timesParticipate in daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and required safety trainingImmediately report unsafe conditions, near-misses, or incidents to the Warehouse SupervisorFollow all PPE requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and hazardous material handling guidelinesProduction SupportCollaborate with production leads to anticipate material needs and prevent line stoppagesAssist with kitting of components and hardware packages for build ordersSupport the Parts department with pick, pack, and ship operations during peak periods as neededCommunicate shortages, damages, or delivery delays to supervisors in a timely mannerRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent1+ years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environmentValid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire (training provided)Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistanceBasic math and reading skills sufficient to verify parts counts, labels, and shipping documentsReliable, punctual, and able to perform consistent physical labor throughout a full shiftFamiliarity with basic warehouse safety practices and OSHA standardsPreferred ExperienceExperience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks and other material handling equipment.Prior experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or specialty vehicle environmentFamiliarity with ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory transactionsExperience with cycle counting and inventory control proceduresAbility to read and interpret build sheets, BOMs (bills of materials), or work ordersContingencies of EmploymentSuccessful completion of a background check, pre-employment drug screen and physical examinationSuccessful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, if applicable to the positionEqual Opportunity EmployerLife Line Emergency Vehicles (LLEV) is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive workplace where all employees and applicants are valued, respected, and supported.LLEV does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.Work AuthorizationLife Line Emergency Vehicles does not offer employment sponsorship.
