Location: St. Louis, MO
Shift: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Pay: Based on Experience

We are seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience cutting a variety of metals, be comfortable reading blueprints and tape measures, and have a strong commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work in a safe manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate industrial saws to cut various types of metal, including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
• Accurately measure material using tape measures and precision measuring tools.
• Verify dimensions and ensure all cuts meet specifications and quality standards.
• Select the appropriate saw blades, cutting speeds, and feeds based on material type and thickness.
• Inspect finished materials for accuracy and quality.
• Load, unload, and safely move raw materials using overhead cranes or forklifts (if certified).
• Perform routine machine maintenance, blade changes, and keep equipment clean and operational.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Work closely with production personnel to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating industrial saws in a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience cutting various metals such as steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane experience is a plus.
