ChristianaCare's Cardiology at Avenue North is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to deliver high-quality, safe, and evidence-based patient care. This role is responsible for achieving optimal patient outcomes through both independent practice and collaborative teamwork within the clinical setting. The Registered Nurse II will apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, contributing as a trusted and integral member of the healthcare team.

Duties / Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse II , you will provide comprehensive, relationship-based care to adult and geriatric cardiology patients in both virtual and clinic settings. Responsibilities include telephone triage, nurse visits, transitional care management, advance care planning, disease management, patient education, medication administration, diagnostic testing, and cardiology procedure coordination. The role serves as a key liaison between patients and the care team, supports prescription refill management, collaborates with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow, responds to urgent patient needs, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and may travel to additional clinic locations as needed.

Education Requirements:

• A graduate of a state approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse licensure or eligible for licensure in the state Delaware, Maryland or Pennsylvania & New Jersey depending on location of employment.
• Two years' experience as a Registered Nurse, primary care experience is preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (AND) will be considered with an agreement of completion of BSN in 3 years
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Hourly Pay Range: $38.22 - $61.16

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
