Municipal Attorney

Olivarez Madruga Law Organization, LLP is seeking a municipal law attorney with 2-5 years’ experience representing public entities. Working in a highly specialized, fast paced transactional capacity, the ideal candidate will serve as legal counsel responsible for the lifecycle of municipal contracts. Focusing exclusively on transactional work, you will draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements and work with clients to prepare public bidding documents ensuring that all municipal agreements and purchasing documents protect public funds, comply with applicable laws, and are executed with maximum efficiency. Applicants must demonstrate a proficiency in public bidding and contracting, procurement, prevailing wage, and franchise agreements. Working knowledge of the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, and Conflict of Interest law is a plus. Ideal candidates will have experience working with public bodies and demonstrate effective communication skills. The salary range for a 2+ year attorney meeting these qualifications will be commensurate with the number of years of practice, relevant experience, and demonstrated accomplishments on the skillset sought. #J-18808-Ljbffr
