About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Development Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the development and implementation of strategic fundraising initiatives. This role involves cultivating and soliciting major gifts, as well as overseeing the stewardship of donors. The Senior Development Officer will work closely with the leadership team to identify and engage prospective donors, and will play a key role in the overall advancement of the institution. Applicants for the Senior Development Officer position at the company should have a proven track record in fundraising, with a focus on major gift solicitation. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, and a deep understanding of the philanthropic landscape. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational or non-profit setting. A strong commitment to the mission and values of the institution is essential.
