Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A per diem opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a specialty compounding pharmacy located in Spring, TX. This closed-door, cash pay pharmacy focuses on holistic health and wellness, providing compounded medications including testosterone, hormones, metformin, and phentermine.

The pharmacist will be the sole RPh on site and supported by one pharmacy technician, with an additional technician soon to be hired. Comfortable standing in as PIC without extensive management experience is essential. The role involves working with PK Software and managing prescription volumes of approximately 80 to 125 per day.

Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Responsibilities:

• Accurately typing and entering prescriptions
• Filling and dispensing medications
• Performing basic non-sterile compounding (creams, capsules, powders)
• Serving as Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

• Active, clear pharmacist license in Texas required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacist
• Compounding experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently as the only pharmacist on staff
