Position Summary Associate Director, Global Clinical Physician – primary source of medical accountability and oversight for clinical trials, managing Phase 1–Phase 3 studies and providing medical and scientific expertise to cross‑functional teams. Responsibilities Medical Monitoring Member of the Study Delivery Team (SDT), key contributor to protocol development, including eligibility and safety considerations. Conduct medical data review of trial data, including eligibility review. Facilitate site interactions with Global Clinical Scientist for medical questions, education, and safety management guidelines. Assess key safety‑related serious adverse events with Worldwide Patient Safety, oversee safety narratives. Clinical Development Expertise & Strategy Design and develop clinical plans and protocols with strong strategic focus. Provide oversight and medical accountability for a group of studies. Lead analysis of benefit/risk in a matrix team environment. Support executional delivery of studies (site activation, enrollment status, protocol violations, deviations). Identify and build relationships with principal investigators and thought leaders. Maintain strong medical/scientific reputation in the disease area. Provide ongoing medical education with Clinical Scientist partner. Health Authority Interactions & Publications Contribute to key Health Authority interactions and advisory board meetings. Author/draft clinical content for CSRs, regulatory reports, briefing books, and submission documents. Qualifications MD required (or U.S. equivalent). Three or more years of industry and/or clinical trials experience. Key Competencies Ability to communicate and present information clearly in scientific and clinical settings. Subspecialty training in applicable therapeutic area desired. Expertise in scientific method to test hypotheses, including statistical design, analysis, and interpretation. Knowledge of drug development process and components needed for an effective clinical plan and protocols. Strong leadership skills and proven ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment. Travel Domestic and international travel may be required. Compensation Cambridge Crossing: $273,210 – $331,063; Madison–Giralda, NJ: $243,930 – $295,589; Princeton, NJ: $243,930 – $295,589. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may apply.
