Automotive Service Advisor

Team Honda ofAcadiana is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing service team in Opelousas! If you’re a strong communicator who enjoys helping people and working in a fast-paced environment, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding career with a successful automotive dealership. As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the primary point of contact between our customers and service technicians. You’ll help customers understand their vehicle’s maintenance and repair needs, keep them informed throughout the service process, and make sure every visit delivers an exceptional experience. Compensation & Schedule Earn up to $60,000+ per year Full-time position Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM Closed Sundays Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Paid holidays Employee discounts Paid training and development Career advancement opportunities Supportive, team-oriented work environment What You’ll Do Greet service customers and provide a friendly, professional experience Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle service needs Create and manage repair orders Communicate recommended maintenance and repairs clearly to customers Provide accurate estimates and explain service options Keep customers updated on repair status, costs, and completion times Coordinate with technicians to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently Review completed repairs and invoices with customers Follow up with customers and help build long-term relationships Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records Help ensure a smooth, efficient service experience from check-in through vehicle pickup What We’re Looking For Previous automotive advisor experience preferred but not required Customer service, sales, or other automotive experience is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to explain automotive services and recommendations in an easy-to-understand way Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Ability to work the scheduled hours, including rotating Saturday mornings Why Team Honda ofAcadiana?
