Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Location: Plantation, FL Schedule: Shift: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM The Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating healthcare services for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role involves ensuring that all sterile procedures are followed, necessary equipment and medications are available, and the outcomes of surgical procedures are documented accurately, while maintaining patient safety at all times. Responsibilities Assist in open heart surgeries including CABG, MVR, AVR, Pacemaker insertions, and laser lead extractions. Provide stand‑by support for thoracic procedures, endovascular procedures, TVAR, and mitral clips. Ensure quality control and compliance with safety protocols during surgical procedures. Document progress and outcomes of surgical procedures meticulously. Provide lunch relief in various service lines including Vascular, Robotics, General, Ortho, Neuro/Spine, Urology, Podiatry, Thoracic Surgery, and Plastic Surgery as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must possess valid ACLS and BLS certifications. Minimum of 2 years of current experience in an acute CVOR setting. Preferred experience in minimally invasive cardiac procedures. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
