Respiratory Therapist II – Respiratory Therapy

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, 36 per week

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist
• Experience in critical care
• Knowledge of ventilator management protocols

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and implement respiratory care in accordance with established protocols.
• Deliver patient care in complex, multi-problem patient scenarios, particularly in critical care settings.
• Engage in patient and family education regarding respiratory care and management.
• Coordinate respiratory care activities and participate in staff development initiatives.
• Provide support and education to new employees and team members.
• Address the biological, emotional, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients and their families during care delivery.
