Position: Acute Care Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an Acute Care Occupational Therapist with a strong commitment to patient care and quality standards. This position requires an active Arizona Occupational Therapist license and a fingerprint clearance card. The individual will work in a dynamic environment treating a variety of patients.

Job Details

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (Monday to Thursday, 08:00 AM - 06:30 PM)
Daily Caseload: 8-11 patients per tech
Minimum Years of Experience Required: 1 year
Weekend Requirements: No
On Call Requirements: No
Floating Requirements: No
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Location: Flagstaff, AZ

Requirements

Current Arizona Occupational Therapist License
BLS Certification
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
Prior experience with acute care, adaptive equipment, and various patient diagnoses such as neurological disorders and injuries

Skills and Competencies

Assessment and evaluation of patient needs
Patient and family education
Development of individualized treatment plans
Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
Experience in various therapeutic techniques including manual therapy
Ability to manage moderate to maximum assist patients
Experience with charting systems, preferably Cerner

Patient Care Details

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
Daily Census: 12-16 patients
Unit Information: The department operates 7 days a week and may require flexibility to accommodate various patient needs.
Preferred Experience: Confident management of medical diagnoses and co-treatment experiences.

Other Information

All employees are expected to adhere to established quality and patient safety standards. Free parking is available at the facility. The successful candidate will be prepared to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality patient care.
