We are seeking a Therapist Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic clinical setting. This role is ideal for individuals pursuing licensure as a therapist who want to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced, licensed professionals. 

The Therapist Intern will provide counseling services, support clients, and assist with treatment planning under supervision. This position offers a valuable opportunity to work with adolescents in a structured therapeutic environment while learning evidence-based practices in mental health care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions under supervision
• Assist in developing treatment plans
• Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in case consultations
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards
• Engage in training and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  Qualifications:  

• Licensed intern in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work; or Psychology Post-Doc with an off-site supervisor.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field
• Preferred: Experience working in residential and/or higher levels of care with acute presentations
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Solid understanding of therapeutic techniques and counseling theories
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
• Commitment to ongoing learning and openness to supervisor feedback
