Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week days assignment requiring 24+ months of OR experience and proficiency with DaVinci, Mako, and Rosa robotic systems.

Details

• Operating Room unit in a regional hospital setting
• Days shift, Monday through Friday, 4x10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week (no block scheduling)
• Call requirements include 1 night per week and up to 1 weekend per month
• Uses Epic EMR
• Robotics equipment includes DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa systems, with approximately 80% of total joint cases utilizing Mako or Rosa

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact/multistate license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum of 24 months of current Operating Room experience required
• Proficient experience with DaVinci robotics required
• Proficient experience in Orthopedics including Total Joints required
• Proficient experience in general surgery required
• Spine experience within the previous 12 months required
• Travel nursing experience within the previous 15 months required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Mako or Rosa equipment experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Skills checklist specific to Operating Room Nursing required for consideration
• Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform circulating and/or scrub RN duties in a high-volume Operating Room
• Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) unless the unit is closed
• Limited time-off requests during the Thanksgiving and Winter holiday periods
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates who were previously employed by the health system as FTE or PRN float pool staff are ineligible to work travel assignments at any facility within the market
• Candidates who previously worked travel assignments at this health system are not subject to the separation policy
